DUTHIEThe family sincerely thank all relatives and friends for their warm support and comforting messages on the sad passing of George, a wonderful and devoted husband, dad, granda and great-granda. Special thanks to Dr Frank Charleson for his outstanding care over many years, Professor Mc Linton, Dr Catie Butchart and nursing staff at ARI, all the carers from Enable whose dedicated assistance was invaluable in facilitating his return home for several months and to Sister Irene Thomson and her nursing staff at the Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Unit at Woodend Hospital for their exceptional care during the last few weeks. Many thanks also to the Reverend Sarah Nicol for her compassionate visits and services and to Sean Wyness of Craig & Beverly for his professional handling of arrangements. Thanks also to the Westhill Holiday Inn for their refreshments and attention. Finally, heartfelt thanks to all who joined us at the service celebrating George's life at Midstocket Church Centre and contributed the generous sum of £1,137.70 to UCAN. George was a truly inspirational person who will live on in our hearts forever.
