MACKENZIE (Geanies, by Tain)Flora and the family of the late Roderick would like to thank relatives, friends, neighbours and work colleagues for their prayerful support and many kind thoughts shown to them following their very sad loss. The cards, letters, flowers and other messages of sympathy have been a great comfort to us. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and carers who so lovingly helped to look after Roderick during his illness. Their skill and devotion strengthened and supported us during this time. We also wish to express our gratitude to Rev. John van Eyk, Rev. John Ross, Rev. David Scott, Mr James Campbell and Mr Rod Mackenzie for their participation in the funeral service. The Highland Gospel Male Voice Choir, of which Roderick was an enthusiastic member for many years, touched hearts with their wonderful singing. We are also grateful to the catering staff who gave such loving attention to all who returned to Geanies House after the interment. We thank Alasdair Rhind Funeral Directors for their help and sensitive handling of the funeral arrangements. We are greatly touched by the kind donations given to Marie Curie Nurses and Blythswood Care at the funeral which amounted to £2,050.00. Our loss as a family is immense but we thank God for every remembrance of Roderick.
