BROOKES (nee Buchanan) (Perth/Tain)Quietly in her home, 4B West Grove Avenue, 77 Jeanfield Road, Perth, on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Kennedy Brookes nee Buchanan, aged 75 years. Adored mumsie and mother-in-law of Jonquil and Detlev, much loved gransie of Elea and Greta, beloved daughter of the late David and Minnie Buchanan, St Andrews Road, Tain, and loved for her boundless energy, hilarity and kindness by all the extended family and friends. Funeral service will be held in Perth Crematorium, on Monday, April 28, at 2 p.m. Thereafter a service of thanksgiving in Tain Parish Church, on Wednesday, April 30, at 11 a.m., followed by interment of cremated remains in St Duthus New Cemetery, Tain. All family and friends respectfully invited to one or both of the services. Family flowers only please, but donations, if so desired, may be given at the services for scouting in Scotland, to which Elizabeth dedicated so much of her life.
