STRACHANThe family of the late Mollie Strachan and Lt Col Bob Strachan MBE would like to express heartfelt thanks for the many cards and messages of sympathy received following their sad loss. Grateful thanks to the staff at Mowat Court Care Home, Rev. Dr Alan Murray for his comforting services and Mackintosh & Steven Funeral Directors for their guidance and sympathetic handling of the funeral arrangements, to the Burnett Arms and Banchory British Legion for the excellent teas and service that they provided. Special thanks to the regimental family of the Gordon Highlanders Association for their support and assistance. Grateful thanks to all those who joined with us at Banchory Ternan East Church and finally for the most generous donations at both service's which raised the sums of £421 for the Heart Foundation, Cancer Research and £1,076 for Dementia UK and the Gordon Highlanders Association. They will be sorely missed.
