FERGUSON (Turriff) Kate, Andrew and Lisa, would like to thank sincerely Amy and James along with their loyal family, Elma and Bert, Alasdair and Dawn, Graham and Mary, June and George, Shona and Paul and all nieces and nephews for their unstinting kindness and caring support following the loss of Bruce, a beloved husband, dad, son, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. They would also like to thank dear friends, relatives, respected colleagues and all those who paid their last respects to Bruce on Wednesday for their thoughtfulness, beautiful flowers and heart warming messages and cards offering condolences. Special thanks to The Rt Revd Dr Robert Gillies, Bishop of Aberdeen and Orkney and Assistant Gordon Brown for presiding over both the private Committal Service at Buckie and the comforting Thanksgiving Service at St Andrew's Parish Church, Turriff. Sincere thanks to friends, Gordon M Hay, Steven Eddie, Nicola Auchnie and Dr John Rankin for their uplifting contributions to the service. Grateful thanks to St Andrew's Parish Church minister and beadles for their helpful arrangements, to George Clark and Son, Funeral Director for their efficient assistance and to Cullen Bay Hotel for providing lunch. The overwhelming sum of £5000 was generously donated for local charities and causes of interest to Bruce.
